How it all works

We design, produce and despatch all orders from one location in sunny Somerset in the south west of England. This means that unlike a relay network, where the sending shop, the receiving shop and the relay all take a cut of the money, leaving very little for the flowers, we put far more money into the bouquet itself.

The flowers are safely boxed in our environmentally-friendly boxes, and given plenty of special water / gel mix to sustain them on the journey to the recipient via guaranteed courier service.

Because of the amount of orders we despatch each day, we have much better buying power, and therefore can provide wonderful big bouquets, with free delivery and free chocolates at a lower cost than a traditional flower shop.

We also provide fresher flowers. We buy direct from auctions in Holland at least 3 times a week (see pic on left), a flower shop will probably buy once a week from a local wholesaler who in turn buys from the same place as we do!, so who know how fresh your flowers are going to be? Because of the high turnover of flowers here at NextDayFlowers.co.uk you are guaranteed fresh flowers and at a great price! -Remember, we don't cut corners on freshness (we have a huge cold room for our flowers - most flower shops don't - so they are cooking in the shop window for days), nor on quality, or on the size of the bouquet, we simply have more buying power, and lowe overheads!

The following comparisons were noted on 25th June 2009, based on our price for a dozen red roses (easier to make a direct comparison), which we have maintained the same price for month on:

Price of a dozed red roses (including delivery):, bear in mind that as an added bonus to being cheaper, our dozen red roses often contains far more stems than a standard 12 red roses and greenery. We'll also use luxurious 'Grand Prix' or 'Red Naomi' roses, where as many others with use inferior varieties such as 'Passion'.

As you can see, we are more into the 'modest price = repeat customer' approach, which has resulted in thousands of repeat customers benefiting from fresh flowers at simply amazing prices!
