Important factors when placing your order
It is important that you, the customer, ensure that all the delivery details of the recipient are correct, as we cannot accept any liability for failed deliveries as a result of incorrect information. For instance, no postcode is sometimes better than guessing / putting the wrong postcode! Our delivery partners will attempt delivery to the recipient on the day of the delivery. If no one is available to receive the delivery they will usually try with a neighbour either side of the property or leave the item in a safe place (but this is down to the discretion of the driver) or they will leave a calling card advising that they attempted delivery, with instructions of how the recipient can organise a re-delivery at a convenient time. If you have any doubts about the recipients ability to receive the item it is recommended that you advise the recipient to expect a delivery. NextDayFlowers.co.uk cannot take responsibility to ensure the recipient is able to accept the delivery.
Hospitals
Different hospitals have different rules with regards to whether or not they will accept flowers. As this information can change, NextDayFlowers.co.uk are unable to keep a database of which hospitals will or will not accept flowers. We strongly advise that you contact the hospital in advance to satisfy yourself that they will accept the flowers, as we cannot be held responsible for the flowers being turned away once you have placed your order. Please ensure that you are specific when filling in the address details, such as recipeint name and ward number.
In most cases the delivery of the flowers is limited to the reception point of the hospital, as our delivery partners may not be permitted to access the actual ward itself, and that you accept that delivery to the hospital reception constitues delivery.
Places of Work
Many work places have a reception point, and our delivery drivers will deliver your flowers to that reception point. A signature obtained from reception constitutes delivery and you accept that it is the reception that is responsible for relaying the flowers to the intended recipient.
Our standard free delivery hours are between the hours on 8am and 6pm. In almost all cases our delivery drivers will only attempt to deliver the flowers during sensible working hours, but if you want to be absolutely sure of the flowers arriving before the recipient's work place closes you should choose our Timed before 1pm option when ordering.
